726 Farm Trade Union - spreading the movement, improving the lives of workers

On September 27, Farm 726 (FC 16) said that the unit had organized the 726 Farm Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term. Attending and directing the congress was Colonel Vu Van Dinh, Deputy Political Commissar of the 16th Corps.

In the past term, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Department of Agriculture, the guidance of the Political Agency and the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union, trade union activities and the workers' movement have had new developments, going into a disciplined and increasingly effective manner.

The targets and tasks set by the congress resolution have been well completed. The material and spiritual life of union cadres, union members and workers has been improved, creating a sense of security and attachment to the unit, contributing to the building of a solid economic - defense project.

The grassroots trade union has implemented many practical activities such as: Visiting and supporting union members in difficulty, suffering from serious illnesses, accidents, and risks with a total amount of more than 200 million VND; contributing 50 million VND to the "Comrades' House" Fund; supporting the Cuban people; effectively implementing the "Union Shelter" program, proposing to support funding to build 4 houses and repair 2 houses for union members in especially difficult housing circumstances.

For the 2025-2030 term, the 726 Agricultural Trade Union has identified a breakthrough: "Focus on improving the quality and productivity of gardens and trees, associated with improving the quality of income, life and welfare for workers; promoting and improving the quality of effective management and use of trade union law books, improving the quality of dissemination of legal education and legal knowledge for workers".

Speaking at the congress, Colonel Vu Van Dinh - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the 16th Corps - praised the outstanding achievements that the 726 Farm Union has achieved in recent times.

He requested the Executive Committee of the new term of the trade union to regularly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers to promptly advise the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Farm in implementing the regime and policies.

At the same time, it is necessary to continue to innovate and be creative in propaganda and mobilization work for union members, organize practical and effective emulation movements, and create a spreading force throughout the unit.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term and the delegation to attend the 6th Congress of the Army Trade Union and the 11th Congress of the Army Trade Union.
