Sa Pa Trade Union accelerates care for workers

On April 18, Sa Pa Ward Trade Union informed that in the first quarter of 2026, many activities to care for workers were effectively implemented, creating a foundation to promote the movement in the second quarter.

Accordingly, in the first 3 months of 2026, grassroots trade unions have proactively grasped the employment situation and life of union members; coordinated to promptly resolve regimes and policies, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.

Emulation movements continue to be maintained, contributing to stabilizing operations at the grassroots level. The work of caring for union members is focused on with many practical forms.

During the 2026 Lunar New Year, the trade union coordinated to visit and support difficult cases, especially union members with dangerous diseases with a total budget of more than 100 million VND.

In addition, about 1,300 gifts were presented to union members and workers; the payment of the 13th month salary and Tet bonus was coordinated by units with a total amount of over 20 billion VND.

However, some difficulties are still pointed out such as limited Party development work in the business bloc; the organization of movement activities, especially sports festivals, is facing difficulties in units with a small number of union members.

In the second quarter, Sa Pa Ward Trade Union determined to continue innovating the content and methods of operation; focusing on organizing activities to respond to Workers' Month 2026, towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress (term 2026-2031).

Along with that, the Mass Women's Committee is also strengthened to improve the effectiveness of caring for and protecting the rights of female workers at the grassroots level.
