Da Nang Labor Union presents 1,000 gifts to the self-managed workers' group of the boarding house during Tet
Da Nang - The City Labor Federation will give 1,000 gifts worth 1 billion VND to workers at the self-managed workers' group in the boarding house during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.
News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on January 5 said: as part of a series of activities to care for Tet for union members and workers, the Da Nang City Labor Federation will give 1,000 gifts to workers at the self-managed workers' group of the boarding house.
Each gift is cash of 1 million VND and will be sent to the workers.
The subjects receiving this gift include: Women workers who are single and raising young children, in difficult circumstances, residing at the self-managed workers' group of boarding houses and workers' housing in Hoa Cam Industrial Park, giving priority to those who do not have the conditions to return to their hometowns and have to stay in Da Nang to celebrate Tet.
Workers in difficult circumstances, residing in self-managed workers' groups of the boarding house and the Hoa Cam Industrial Park Workers' Housing, prioritizing the whole family as workers, in cases where they do not have the conditions to return to their hometowns, having to stay in Da Nang to celebrate Tet.
In this program, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized delegations to visit and give gifts at the workers' residences from the 23rd to the 27th of Tet.
Along with the activity of giving gifts to workers' households, the City Labor Federation organized a meeting, encouragement and gratitude program for the Executive Board of the Workers' Group for self-management of the boarding house.
Up to now, there are 74 self-managed workers' groups in the boarding house in the city. During the meeting program, the City Labor Federation gave each group 1 million VND to encourage the executive board on the occasion of Tet.
The gift giving program for workers at the self-managed workers' group of boarding houses and workers' housing is maintained annually by the Da Nang City Labor Federation.
In particular, in recent years, not only have leaders of the City Labor Federation visited, many worker households residing in the self-managed workers' group of boarding houses have also been unexpectedly visited, encouraged and given gifts by the City Party Committee leaders, demonstrating the deep concern of the city's leaders for workers in difficult circumstances who do not have the conditions to return home for Tet.
