Industry and Trade Trade Union supports hundreds of union members in difficulty

According to Chairman of the Quang Binh Industry and Trade Trade Trade Union (CDNCT) Phan Manh Hung, up to now, the CDNCT is managing 45 grassroots trade unions (CDCS), an increase of 5 grassroots trade unions compared to 2024, of which 4 grassroots trade unions are in the administrative - career sector and 41 grassroots trade unions are in the enterprise sector. The total number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the industry is 3,099 people, of which 1,544 are female, accounting for 49.8%, and the number of union members is 2,456 people, with 1,065 women, accounting for 43.3%.

Since its establishment in 2009, the Trade Union has continuously developed and expanded. Emulation movements such as "Good workers - Creative workers", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", or the program "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker's Month" have been widely implemented, bringing many practical benefits to union members.

"We always strive to build a strong trade union organization, truly a support for union members and workers, not only in protecting their rights but also in creating conditions for them to develop their careers and improve their lives," Mr. Phan Manh Hung shared.

During the 16 -year journey, the CDNCT has achieved many outstanding achievements. In 2015, the Trade Union received the emulation flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. In 2020, the Union continues to receive the leading emulation flag in the provincial Labor Federation. Every year, the College of Council is classified by the provincial Labor Federation as the superior trade union directly operating.

In addition, the Industry Union has also done a good job of caring for the lives and protecting the rights of workers, especially in production and business enterprises. The union has supported hundreds of union members in difficult circumstances, organized social security programs and mobilized businesses to improve working conditions for workers.
