An Giang - The Provincial Federation of Labor sets a target for actual development of increasing 15,000 union members or more; 100% of enterprises with 20 or more employees are established grassroots unions.
The An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor said that the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions (CDCS) has been focused on and implemented since the beginning of the year. After the merger (Kien Giang and An Giang provinces become An Giang provinces), the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor issued an adjusted plan on developing union members and establishing grassroots unions in 2025, in which the development goal was set for an increase of 8,000 union members.
Trade unions at all levels have proactively surveyed, grasped the area, actively innovated methods of propaganda, mobilization, admission of union members, and establishment of grassroots trade unions. The union sets out tasks and solutions for 2026 to increase the rate of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions.

Signing the Regulation to coordinate with Party committees under the Provincial Party Committee and local Party committees in coordinating surveys to grasp the situation of union members, employees, developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, developing party members in enterprises without trade union organizations, collecting trade union funds. Select May and July 2026 to implement the organization of the Peak Month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions and introducing outstanding union members to the Party for training and admission.
