An Giang Trade Union strives to actually increase more than 15,000 union members

The An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor said that the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions (CDCS) has been focused on and implemented since the beginning of the year. Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Do Tran Thinh said that in 2026, the Provincial Federation of Labor set a real development target of increasing the number of union members by 15,000 or more; 100% of enterprises with 20 or more employees will have established grassroots unions. The union sets out tasks and solutions for 2026 to increase the rate of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions.

Signing the Regulation to coordinate with Party committees under the Provincial Party Committee and local Party committees in coordinating surveys to grasp the situation of union members, employees, developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, developing party members in enterprises without trade union organizations, collecting trade union funds. Select May and July 2026 to implement the organization of the Peak Month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions and introducing outstanding union members to the Party for training and admission.
