Caring for more than 696,000 workers in Ho Chi Minh City during Tet 2025

At the summary of the work of caring for the Lunar New Year 2025 organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation on the afternoon of February 14, Mr. Pham Chi Tam - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - said that during the Lunar New Year 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Labor Unions at all levels have focused on organizing many practical activities to care for the Lunar New Year for union members and workers with the motto "Tet comes to all union members and workers, leaving no one behind".
The total budget for taking care of the Lunar New Year 2025 mobilized and mobilized by Ho Chi Minh City trade unions at all levels, coordinating with agencies, units and enterprises to take care of 696,146 union members and workers is 676.3 billion VND, an increase of 10% compared to the Lunar New Year 2024.
Of which, the care budget of agencies, units, and enterprises is 205.5 billion VND, the budget from the trade union financial support budget is 470.8 billion VND.
According to the assessment of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, in addition to the caring activities of Ho Chi Minh City's trade unions at all levels, the city's all levels and sectors, especially the business community, have also accompanied and joined hands to care for union members and workers in the area to celebrate a joyful and warm Tet.
Many businesses, despite facing difficulties, still join hands and accompany the trade union organization to take care of Tet, the scope of care is expanded to cover all union members and workers.
The influence of the trade union organization in caring for Tet activities has received consensus from society, creating a clear mark and trust of union members and workers, receiving high appreciation from the leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
Thereby, workers have more confidence in the trade union organization, stick with and accompany businesses, continue to work and produce enthusiastically, constantly study to improve their skills, promote technical innovation initiatives, increase labor productivity, work efficiency, continue to contribute to the development of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general, and join the whole country in entering a new era, an era of national growth.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation commended 63 collectives and 48 individuals with outstanding achievements in taking care of Tet for union members and workers in Ho Chi Minh City.
