Propaganda on online fraud prevention for HBI Hue workers
HUE - More than 150 workers of HBI Hue Company were instructed to identify fraud tricks and self-protection skills in cyberspace.
On November 29, the Trade Union of Hanesbrands Vietnam Hue Company Limited (HBI Hue) said that Phu Bai Ward Police coordinated with the Hue City Labor Federation and the Company's Trade Union to organize an online anti-fraud propaganda session for more than 150 officers and workers.
At the program, the police force analyzed common scams such as impersonating state agencies, appropriating bank accounts, defrauding "easy things - high salaries", calling for virtual financial investment...
Workers are instructed on how to identify risks, authenticate information, confidentialize personal accounts and handle suspected scams.
The activity contributes to equipping safe digital skills, protecting workers' rights against risks in cyberspace.
