Training on legal knowledge for more than 100 employees of Cam Pha ward, Quang Ninh
Quang Ninh On September 15, the Provincial Federation of Labor said that the unit had just coordinated to organize a conference to train legal knowledge for more than 100 union members of Cam Pha ward.
More than 100 union members are employees of 80 grassroots unions in Cam Pha ward.
At the conference, Ms. Dang Thi Kim Chung - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor - disseminated new points of the Trade Union Law (amended) such as: expanding the number of subjects joining trade unions; strengthening the right to represent, care for and protect workers; adding the right to supervision and social criticism; and new regulations on trade union finance. Trade Union Law No. 50/2024/QH15 takes effect from July 1, 2025.
Next, Mr. Nguyen Thien Vuong - Chief of Office of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee - informed about the situation of traffic accidents, common causes; disseminated the Road Traffic Law, decrees and penalties for violations.
Through the conference, it contributed to raising awareness and sense of law compliance among union members and employees; at the same time, it helped to promptly update new points of the Trade Union Law, the Social Insurance Law 2024 and related documents, thereby effectively applying them in work and life, building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
