Results of a drug inspection of more than 10,000 workers in Hai Phong
Hai Phong - On the evening of January 13, the City Police informed the results of the inspection and testing of drugs against workers at boarding houses and shelters for workers.
Accordingly, from 7:00 p.m., city-level inspection teams, including: Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Mobile Police Department, Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police, City Police Hospital, Police of wards and communes and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level with 600 officers and soldiers organizing drug testing for workers concentrated in the three communes of Lai Khe, Mao Dien, Cam Giang with many workers staying at the rented room.
The police of the remaining wards, communes and special zones also established commune-level inspection teams to check and test drugs in the bodies of workers at boarding houses and labor shelters in the management area.
As a result, the total number of workers in Hai Phong City who were tested for drugs in their bodies was 10,032, and 15 cases were found to be positive for drugs. Of which, the police force tested 4,869 people in the 3 communes of Mao Dien, Lai Khe, Cam Giang, and discovered 8 cases positive for drugs.
During the inspection, the police force combined propaganda and education on drug prevention and control, especially propaganda on the Project "building Hai Phong into a drug-free city"; reminded and required the owners of accommodation establishments to sign a commitment not to violate the law in general, and to violate the law on drugs in particular.
