200 female workers in Thanh Hoa receive legal advice and gynecological health check-ups
Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with An Viet General Hospital to organize legal communication and specialist examination for female workers in the area.
On December 5, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that it had just coordinated with An Viet General Hospital to organize a communication program on legal advice and examination of women's health for 200 female workers of Alena Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd. (in Yen Dinh commune, Thanh Hoa province).
At the program, female workers were disseminated policies and regimes related to female workers such as sick leave, maternity, social insurance benefits; policies for female workers who are pregnant or raising children under 12 months old. At the same time, many common legal situations in practice were answered.
Doctors at An Viet General Hospital also informed about obstetrics and gynecology, instructed on early disease recognition, prevented inflammation in the industrial environment and directly examined and consulted on treatment.
100% of female workers participating have a good grasp of the content, accurately answering situations raised by the Provincial Federation of Labor, demonstrating the proactiveness and awareness of protecting the rights of union members.
