Vinh Long organizes "Union Meal" at 3 locations

The Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) has just issued a plan to organize a "Union Meal" for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, to increase care for the material and spiritual life of workers.

According to the plan, the "Union Year-end Meal" will be held at 3 locations with the participation of about 900 union members and workers working at enterprises in the province. The activity is carried out by the union in coordination with employers, ensuring food safety and hygiene and not affecting production.

The first event took place on January 31 at Ty Bach Company Limited, Binh Minh Industrial Park. The program is expected to have 300 workers and laborers attending, including 50 cases with especially difficult circumstances to give Tet gifts.

The second point was held on February 11 at TV Pharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. Here, about 300 union members and workers attended the "Union Year's Meal", of which 29 workers in difficult circumstances received support gifts.

The third point took place on February 13 at GENNOVA GROUP Company Limited, with about 300 union members and workers participating. On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented gifts to 35 workers in difficult circumstances, encouraging workers to feel secure in sticking with the enterprise.

The value of each meal in the "Union Meal" is at least 70,000 VND, from union finances and support from businesses or socialization. Through activities, the Trade Union organization hopes to create a warm and united atmosphere, contributing to the workers having a joyful Tet holiday and working with peace of mind in the new year.
