Visiting and giving gifts to union members and workers in Ho Chi Minh City in difficult circumstances

On the afternoon of August 7, the Tan Thoi Hiep Ward Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh City held a conference to award the decision to recognize the Ward Trade Union, the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman of the Ward Trade Union.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dang Trung Dung - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 7 - congratulated the Tan Thoi Hiep Ward Labor Union and oriented some tasks of the ward labor union in the coming time.

Mr. Dang Trung Dung said that the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 7 currently manages the trade unions of 22 wards, communes and about 2,600 grassroots trade unions in Tan Thoi Hiep, Tan Phu Trung, Tay Bac Cu Chi, Dong Nam industrial parks, Automobile Mechanical with over 250,000 union members.

The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has issued a plan to care for 18,000 union members, workers and union officials in difficult circumstances with a total budget of 18 billion VND.

In particular, the Area Management Working Group No. 7 was allocated 1,800 support packages, each worth 1 million VND, with a total support value of 1.8 billion VND.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 7 directly presented 100 gifts (1 million VND/gift), the remaining 1,700 gifts will be transferred to the accounts of union members, workers and union officials in difficult circumstances.

This is an activity of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union organization to respond to activities to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025).

At the same time, it has practical significance to thank union members and workers for actively working in production, contributing to the development of the unit, enterprises and Ho Chi Minh City.
