Presenting 1,800 gifts to support disadvantaged workers in Ho Chi Minh City
HCMC - On July 29, Area Management Working Group No. 9 of the HCMC Labor Federation organized a gift-giving program to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
The program was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; Ms. Le Thi Hong Nhung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; leaders of the Ben Cat Ward Fatherland Front Committee; Ben Cat Ward Trade Union.
At the program, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation presented 100 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances who are working in production enterprises. Each support gift includes 1 million VND in cash and gifts of necessities and household items.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat said that on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has a policy of giving support gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Today, Area Management Working Group No. 9 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation presented 100 gifts to union members and workers.
In the coming time, Area Management Working Group No. 9 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation will continue to support 1,700 gifts, worth 1 million VND/gift, given to workers by bank transfer.

In addition to the above program, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 9 has worked with the Trade Unions of communes, wards and grassroots trade unions to coordinate with enterprises to organize the "Union Meal" program for workers. Through this program, it contributes to taking care of the quality of meals for workers, building solidarity, attachment, and sharing between workers and employers and the Trade Union organization.



It is known that Area Management Working Group No. 9 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation is headed by Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation. At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat directly directed the activities of trade unions in 15 wards, communes, and grassroots trade unions in the wards and communes: Ben Cat, Chanh Phu Hoa, Thoi Hoa, Tay Nam, Long Nguyen, Bau Bang, Tru Van Tho, Phu Giao, Phuoc Hoa, Phuoc Thanh, An Long, Long Hoa, Thanh An, Dau Tieng, Minh Thanh.
