Visiting and supporting 4,356 union members in difficult circumstances

The Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union (VTC) is currently managing 268 grassroots trade unions with a total of 87,895 union members, including 54 affiliated trade unions, including 3 trade unions at the grassroots level and 51 affiliated grassroots trade unions.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Trade Union of Industry and Trade has performed well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. The union has supported and visited 4,356 union members in difficult circumstances with an amount of more than 3.9 billion VND; supported 958 union members to participate in the Union Tet Market with a total amount of 479 million VND; visited 599 union members in difficult circumstances during Tet with an amount of 1 million VND/person.

At the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Workers' Safety and Health Month in 2025, the Trade Union launched the movement "The whole country competes in innovation, creativity and digital transformation"; organized a direct and e-commerce workers' market; presented 450 vouchers, 20 gifts and supported 298 union members in difficult circumstances (1 million VND/person).

Notably, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized a training conference to foster skills in using artificial intelligence and virtual assistants in person and online for more than 80,000 cadres, union members, and workers in the entire industry... contributing to building a strong team of workers and civil servants in the Science and Technology industry, adapting to the requirements of digital transformation and the current 4.0 industrial revolution.

Cultural, artistic and sports activities, caring for material life, raising the spirit of union members and workers are regularly organized at all levels of trade unions, attracting a large number of union members and workers to respond and participate.
