According to the Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor, in the context of many businesses still facing difficulties, decreased orders, a number of workers had their working hours reduced, and unstable income, taking care of Tet for workers continued to be identified as a key task.
From the general plan, the trade unions of industrial parks have proactively developed care plans suitable to actual conditions. Focus on workers in difficult circumstances, workers who have work accidents, serious illnesses, lost their jobs or have suffered a sharp decrease in income.
Not only stopping at concentrated activities, trade unions at all levels also organize direct visits to boarding houses and workers' housing areas; grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers to promptly support. For workers who cannot return to their hometowns, the union plans to organize on-site Tet activities, ensuring that no one is left behind.
Ms. Bang Hai Ninh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks in Phu Tho province said that the organization of activities to care for workers and laborers during Tet this year is required to be implemented in a practical and effective manner, avoiding formality.
