Tet Sum vay comes to railway workers in Dieu Tri station area

With the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", the Trade Union, Vietnam Railways Corporation in coordination with specialized units and regional trade unions have just organized the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" at Dieu Tri Locomotive Station (Tuy Phuoc commune, Gia Lai province).

Nearly 100 union members and workers directly on duty at Dieu Tri station area celebrated Tet early together.

According to Mr. Pham Van Minh - Head of Dieu Tri Station, Phu Khanh Railway Exploitation Branch, in 2025, the operation of the Dieu Tri Station Labor Union was heavily affected by natural disasters and storms.

Units in the station area have repeatedly had to organize passenger transfer by car between Dieu Tri station and Tuy Hoa station to ensure safety and legitimate rights for passengers.

In unfavorable weather conditions, tight time and large number of passengers, the collective of Dieu Tri station proactively coordinated to deploy the transshipment task, ensuring absolute safety.

Labor union units in Dieu Tri station area closely coordinate in technical work. Especially ensuring Tet and Summer train schedules; regularly inspecting and maintaining the road system, recording, and signal information, helping infrastructure and technical equipment in the station to always operate stably.

In 2025, the average income of workers in the Dieu Tri station area reached from 9.7 million VND to 17 million VND/month. Officials and employees continue to strive to build the Dieu Tri station area "Regular - Cultural - Safe", "Green - Clean - Beautiful", improving the quality of transport services serving the people.

At the program, the Chairman of the Vietnam Railway Trade Union awarded more than 470 million VND to support the organization of a common Tet for workers in the Dieu Tri station area. At the same time, Tet gifts were given to 11 collectives working on New Year's Eve and 13 union members and workers in difficult circumstances working in this area.

Mr. Vu Duc Thang - Director of Saigon Locomotive Enterprise Branch said that the Tet Sum vay program at Dieu Tri station will be an important source of spiritual encouragement, helping workers successfully complete the task of running Tet trains in 2026. Especially for each union member, locomotive workers - leaders of trains carrying Spring to every home become even more meaningful.

Sharing the difficulties that union members and workers in Dieu Tri station area, Mr. Ha Trong Thang - Chairman of the Vietnam Railway Trade Union said that this is one of the 26 station areas nationwide organizing Tet Sum vay chung for workers on the National Railway network.

The Binh Ngo Spring 2026 Railway Industry Reunion Tet program prioritizes organization in difficult areas, remote and isolated areas, and areas affected by natural disasters.

Through Tet gifts, lucky money envelopes, and year-end meals at the station, the Trade Union and the Corporation expect to bring to each union member and worker an atmosphere of early spring, more excitement before entering the peak train running season.
