Thai Nguyen - The Trade Union Shelter was presented by the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union to workers in especially difficult circumstances of Khanh Hoa Coal Company.

The Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group (TKV) said it has decided to support 90,000,000 VND from the Trade Union Shelter program for Mr. Tran Van Cuong, from the Transportation Department of Khanh Hoa Coal Company.

Currently, Mr. Cuong's family is living in a level 4 apartment building that has seriously degraded and is damaged, not ensuring long-term living conditions. Mr. Tran Van Cuong himself suffered from a serious illness, declining health; his wife did not have a stable job, and had an unstable income from freelance work.

His family has two young children who are in school and are taking care of their elderly parents who do not have pensions. Family life is very difficult.

To promptly encourage workers, in addition to the amount of 90,000,000 supported by TKV Trade Union, Khanh Hoa Coal Company Trade Union also supported 10,000,000 VND, Khanh Hoa Coal Company supported an additional 10,000,000 VND. This amount of money contributes to helping Mr. Tran Van Cuong's family have the conditions to repair, stabilize their housing, feel secure in treating their illness and taking care of their children.
