Starting construction of the Trade Union Shelter for union members in difficult circumstances in Quang Tri
Quang Tri - The start of the Trade Union Shelter helps workers stabilize their lives, work with peace of mind, and stay with the unit and the Trade Union organization for a long time.
On January 22, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the Vietnam Peace Trees Organization Trade Union had just held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a Trade Union Shelter for union members with particularly difficult housing circumstances.
The supported union member is Mr. Ho Van Phin, a site technician of the Vietnam Peace Tree Organization Project.His family is an ethnic minority, living in a border commune, with extremely difficult economic conditions.
His wife does not have a stable job, stays at home to take care of young children and elderly parents, and is in poor health; his mother has had kidney failure for many years.Currently, the family is living in a makeshift, seriously degraded house that is not safe.
In that situation, the Social Fund of the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation supported 50 million VND to build a Trade Union Shelter, helping Mr. Ho Van Phin's family have the conditions to build a solid house and stabilize their lives.
The activities to support the construction of the Trade Union Shelter demonstrate the concern and practical care of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances; thereby contributing to helping union members feel secure in their work and stay with the unit and the Trade Union organization for a long time.
