Supporting union members in difficult circumstances, the grassroots union mobilized nearly 268 million VND

On January 16, the Trade Union of Can Tho City Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital (CDCS) said that the unit had just held a conference to summarize the implementation of tasks in 2025 and the direction and tasks for 2026.

Regarding the work of caring for union members and workers, during the year, the unit coordinated with the government to give gifts and send birthday greeting cards to 612 civil servants and workers (VC-NLD), at a cost of 183.6 million VND. The grassroots trade union also visited the children, sick leave, and children of 71 employees, with a total amount of 50.1 million VND.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the hospital's Trade Union coordinated to give 780 gifts to VC-NLD, practicing staff, serving charity kitchens, protecting, preserving, parking passenger cars, cleaning to collect garbage... to enjoy spring. The total amount is 546 million VND.

In the spirit of mutual love, the Executive Committee of the Hospital Trade Union mobilized and called for support for 6 VC-NLD in difficult circumstances to treat their diseases with a total amount of nearly 268 million VND.

During the year, the Trade Union also carried out many social activities such as mobilizing support for 101 poor patients in difficulty, with a total amount of more than 1 billion VND; giving more than 200 gifts to patients and mothers who did not return home for Tet; organizing medical examination and treatment and providing free medicine to people in Ben Tre province (old); organizing reproductive health training for deaf people, etc.

To promote the achieved results, in 2026, the hospital's Trade Union will promote propaganda and political and ideological education.
