Supporting 150 million VND to build Trade Union Shelter houses for union members in Ninh Binh
Ninh Binh - On March 13, the Provincial Labor Federation awarded funding to support the construction of "Trade Union Shelter" houses for 3 families of union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the province.
Accordingly, the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation has awarded 150 million VND to support 3 union member families in difficult circumstances in Lien Minh commune, Vu Ban commune and Y Yen commune to build "Trade Union Homes". Each family is supported with 50 million VND by the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation.

The families who received financial support from the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation to build "Trade Union Shelter" houses this time include the family of Mr. Vu Linh (Dien Bien village, Lien Minh commune), Mr. Linh is a member of the grassroots trade union of Smart Shirts Garments Manufacturing Bao Minh Co., Ltd. (Bao Minh Industrial Park).

Mr. Linh is one of the cases with difficult housing circumstances. Previously, Mr. Linh's family lived in a seriously degraded level 4 house, which was not safe. With the support from the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation, his family built a flat roof house of 80m2.
Similarly, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy's family (Van Diem village, Y Yen commune) is a trade union member of Danli Vietnam Toys Co., Ltd. (Bao Minh Industrial Park), and is also one of the cases in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Thuy herself is a single mother raising 3 young children and taking care of her elderly parents. Ms. Thuy's family lives in a level-4 house that has seriously deteriorated and is not safe, but there are no conditions to rebuild or repair it.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich (Moi hamlet, Vu Ban commune), is a trade union member of Danli Vietnam Toy Co., Ltd. (Bao Minh Industrial Park), Ms. Bich is also a single mother raising 2 young children and taking care of her elderly mother.

Both Ms. Thuy and Ms. Bich's families live in dilapidated level 4 houses that are not safe. With support from the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation and help from relatives, Ms. Thuy and Ms. Bich's family borrowed more to build a new, more solid and spacious house.
The program to support the construction of "Trade Union Shelter" houses launched by the Trade Union organization has profound humanistic meaning, showing the concern and responsibility of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

The program not only supports housing construction costs, helping workers stabilize their lives, but is also a source of spiritual encouragement for them to feel secure in working and producing, thereby affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for life, contributing to ensuring social security and spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the community.
At the same time, contributing to joining hands with local authorities to implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
