BYD spends 4.7 billion VND to buy Tet gifts for union members

According to the reporter's investigation, the Trade Union of BYD Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. has just announced a bidding invitation for the project: "Purchasing a Lunar New Year gift Set in 2026 to give to union members of BYD Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd".

The total value of the procurement package is more than 4.7 billion VND from capital drawn from the union finances of grassroots unions. The package implementation period is 30 days.

According to the bidding documents, the Tet gift set will include cakes such as: 132g vegetable and fat cake; 120g Mountain lemon yogurt cake; 360g rolls; 100g mango confectionery; 303g cookies; 200g portable shirt jam; 180g dissoluble coffee; 75g chocolate mix cake; gift box, greeting card, baner designed according to requirements.

BYD Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. is located at Lot CN-2A, Phu Ha Industrial Park, Phu Tho Ward, Phu Tho Province. This company is a member of the multinational corporation BYD (China), focusing on the production of tablets, electronic components and batteries, with a plan to expand to the production of electric cars, electric buses and energy batteries.

This enterprise was granted an initial Investment Certificate by the Phu Tho Industrial Park Management Board on August 25, 2021 and the first adjustment on July 22, 2022, with a total investment registration of 269 million USD, and has officially started production and business since August 2022 with main activities of installing tablet equipment.

On February 28, 2023, the Company was granted a second Certificate of Adjustment by the Industrial Park Management Board for a number of manufacturing industries such as chips, modules, 4G-5G modem, and flycam.

In recent years, BYD Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. has continuously expanded its scale in Phu Ha Industrial Park. Currently, the whole company has about 18,000 employees.
