Workers with serious illnesses are supported by companies, unions and colleagues

On December 8, the Trade Union of Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company said that while going through a long period of treatment for serious illness, Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Phuong - a cutting department worker of Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company continued to receive warm sharing from the company's leadership, the trade union and the workers at the factory.

For many months now, Ms. Phuong has been continuously going to the hospital for treatment, the high cost has caused her family to fall into exhaustion. The couple did not have a house to rent, the husband did not have a stable job, and all hospital fees were beyond their ability to handle. Her health declined, her economy was exhausted, but she still tried to cling to the hope of being cured to continue raising her children and returning to work.

Sharing the difficulties with colleagues, the factory has launched a fundraising movement among all staff. In just a short time, the collective has donated 47,440,000 VND, sending the whole "mutual love - the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" to Ms. Phuong.

Before that, the leaders of the Factory, the Company's Trade Union and the Factory's Trade Union directly visited, encouraged and supported part of the treatment costs for her at the hospital.

The cooperation of the Trade Union organization and the collective of workers not only helps Ms. Phuong have more conditions to cover hospital fees, but is also a great source of spiritual encouragement for her to continue to persevere in fighting the disease.
