Gia Lai Trade Union supports workers affected by storms and floods
Gia Lai - The Provincial Trade Union visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support union members and workers affected by storms and floods.
On the afternoon of December 1, the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor (GFF) visited and presented gifts to support union members and workers at a number of enterprises in the area, heavily affected by storm No. 13 and the recent historic floods.
At Greewind Company Limited (Diem Tieu village, Phu My commune), the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 30 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, along with a special gift worth 5 million VND to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - a worker whose house collapsed during the storm, to promptly share difficulties with union members and workers who suffered damage to their houses and property.
On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor also presented a gift worth 5 million VND to Mr. Dang Van Du - a worker at Quang Dung Production, Trade and Service Company Limited (Binh Duong commune) - whose house completely collapsed in storm No. 13, helping him quickly overcome the consequences and stabilize his life.
On the same day, at An Long Wood Processing Joint Stock Company (Phuoc An Industrial Park, Tuy Phuoc Tay Commune), the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 30 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members and workers affected by storms and floods.
