Phu Khanh Railway Company's Trade Union cares for and improves workplaces for workers
Khanh Hoa - The Trade Union of Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company has had many solutions to improve the working environment for workers.
On November 2, Ms. Dang Thanh Hang, Chairman of the Trade Union of Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company, said that in the past time, the trade union has coordinated with the professional department to proactively improve the team's workhouses, supply and many degraded barrier guards.
Repair and upgrading work is prioritized to ensure working and living conditions for workers; many rooms have been renovated, helping to reduce difficulties for workers living far away.
In particular, in the Deo Ca area, the Vietnam Railway Trade Union and the company have supported the completion of the entire solar power system for lighting three tunnels and bridge guards and tunnels in the middle of the pass.
The project contributes to improving labor safety and supporting workers to work in specific and complex conditions. In addition, the company's trade union also completely resolved recommendations on regimes, salaries, income; issued cooling fans, built sunroofs for the butler house... to improve the working environment.
Periodic health check-ups and occupational health management have been seriously implemented, especially in the period of disease prevention in recent years.
In the period of 2023-2025, the trade union will maintain the organization of cultural and sports activities; creating conditions for 389 officers and employees to travel domestically and internationally with a total budget of more than 1 billion VND. At the same time, organize "Union Meals" at centralized maintenance works, creating a spirit of solidarity among workers of the units.
Promoting the effectiveness of the Social Fund and social security work, the trade union has spent about 1.2 billion VND on charity activities, grants to disadvantaged people, supporting women - children, sports and pension activities.
Trade unions at all levels also visited and supported 1,011 workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of more than 1 billion VND; at the same time, maintained a Charity Fund contributed by union members to promptly support emergency cases.
Every Lunar New Year, the "Tet Sum Vay" program is carefully organized. Workers working on New Year's Eve and veteran officials were visited, wished a happy New Year and given gifts, demonstrating the deep concern of the trade union organization.
