Son Tra Ward Trade Union, Da Nang presents Tet gifts to 546 union members

News from Son Tra Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on January 28 said: The Ward Trade Union organized a conference to summarize trade union activities in 2025 and deploy tasks for 2026.

In 2025, Son Tra Ward Trade Union focused on performing well the function of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

The ward trade union proactively grasped the situation, coordinated to implement the Law on Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots level, organized the Employee Conference reaching 60.2% of units; promoted negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements with 05 newly signed units, raising the rate of units with collective labor agreements to 55.7%.

Many welfare regimes have been improved, especially lunch meals. Social security work has been effectively implemented: supporting union members in difficult circumstances, union members affected by natural disasters; organizing the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", "Trade Union Tet Journey" with a total budget of 550 million VND.

The ward trade union provides legal advice to more than 150 union members; guides the implementation of the new minimum wage policy.

In parallel, propaganda and patriotic emulation work were promoted; successfully organized the Ward Trade Union Congress for the term 2025–2030; newly developed 812 union members, established 5 grassroots trade unions. Women's activities were consolidated, practically caring for children of union members in difficult circumstances.

In 2026, the Ward Trade Union will focus on effectively implementing activities to continue to perform well the functions of the trade union organization.

On this occasion, the Da Nang City Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 3 individuals; Son Tra Ward People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 8 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in activities in 2025.

Also at the conference, Son Tra Ward Trade Union presented 546 Tet gifts, worth 520 million VND, to union members in difficult circumstances in the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party 2026" Program.
