Hai Chau Ward Labor Union, Da Nang supports union members with over 1.4 billion VND to celebrate Tet
Da Nang - Labor Union members of Hai Chau Ward Union were supported with more than 1.4 billion VND on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026.

News from the Hai Chau Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City on January 26. 1 said: on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, Hai Chau Ward Trade Union will provide support 1. 002 Tet gifts, each worth 1 million VND and 1. 900 shopping vouchers at the "Union Tet Market" for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, Hai Chau Ward Trade Union also presented train and bus tickets to 154 cases of union members and relatives participating in the Bus and Union Train to return home for Tet.
The total amount of gifts, shopping vouchers and train and bus tickets is worth more than 1.4 billion VND from the financial resources allocated by the Da Nang City Trade Union.
In addition, 220 union members of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union received vouchers to buy goods from the online Trade Union Tet Market organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Previously, at the Conference to summarize the work in 2025 and deploy tasks in 2026, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Chairman of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union said: in 2025, Hai Chau Ward Trade Union will carry out many activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers.
There are nearly 6 in the year. 500 workers, civil servants and laborers received periodic health check-ups; the trade unions of the units provided subsidies to union members and laborers in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses, with a total amount of more than 2.7 billion VND.
Hai Chau Ward Trade Union coordinated to organize Union Member Welfare programs with 7 enterprises. The work of developing union members and establishing trade unions has received attention, with 11 new grassroots trade unions established and 460 new members developed.

According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, in the new year 2026, the Hai Chau Ward Trade Union will focus on innovating the content and methods of operation; focus on implementing 3 breakthrough programs during the term.
Organize care for union members in difficult circumstances, those with serious illnesses, and work-related accidents; train and foster grassroots union officials to meet the requirements and tasks of the organization in the new term.
Improve the effectiveness of organizing campaigns; Strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of policies and laws for union members and workers.
Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong, Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding results that the Hai Chau Ward Labor Union has achieved in 2025, especially the activities to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong requested that in 2026, the Hai Chau Ward Trade Union continue to closely follow the local political tasks, proactively innovate activities, improve the quality of grassroots trade unions, contributing to building an increasingly strong team of workers, civil servants and laborers.
Mr. Vo Thanh Trung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hai Chau Ward Party Committee, emphasized the important role of trade unions in the grassroots political system.
Mr. Trung suggested that the Hai Chau Ward Labor Union continue to promote a sense of responsibility, strengthen coordination with the government and unions, and better care for the lives of union members and workers, especially in the context of implementing the two-level local government model and new requirements in the coming time.
