Da Nang - Hai Chau Ward Union promptly supported union members who suffered heavy losses due to floods.
News from the Hai Chau Ward Trade Union, Da Nang on November 1 said: The Standing Committee of the Hai Chau Ward Trade Union visited and encouraged union members directly affected by floods belonging to the grassroots trade unions directly managing them living in the wards and communes: Hoa Vang, Hoa Tien, Hoa Xuan, Ngu Hanh Son district.
These are areas heavily affected by the recent floods, many families suffered damage to their houses, essential property, means of transportation, etc.
On this occasion, the Ward Union presented each union member with 2 million VND. This is a small gift compared to the damage caused by natural disasters. However, this is a timely encouragement from the Trade Union organization during the union members' difficulties.
Currently, Hai Chau Ward Union has more than 300 union members severely affected by the historic flood. The ward union has reported to the City Labor Federation and will hand over the union's support funds to the affected union members as soon as possible.
