Da Nang Trade Union supports 2,000 train and bus tickets for workers in the Spring of 2026

On December 28, the Da Nang City Trade Union said that the City Trade Union officials are making efforts to synchronously deploy activities to care for union members and workers during Tet with a focus on the grassroots, focusing on the force directly producing. The goal is to ensure that workers have the conditions to celebrate Tet safely and warmly, reduce cost pressure and increase solidarity with the Trade Union organization.

According to the plan, in 2026, the Da Nang City Labor Federation will organize many key programs including Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng, Trade Union Tet Market, accompanying union members in difficult circumstances and Trade Union Tet Journey. The activities are designed according to actual needs, prioritizing low-income workers, affected by natural disasters, diseases, work accidents, reduced working hours or job loss.

In the accompanying program, it is expected to visit and give gifts to 22,000 union members and workers. Each cash support period is 1 million VND from the union's financial resources. Beneficiaries include union members in difficult circumstances, people with serious illnesses, affected by storms and floods, workers in policy families, people who have not been able to return to their hometowns for Tet for many years, and workers staying to work during Tet.

At the same time, about 1,000 workers in difficulty in self-managed workers' groups in boarding houses, single workers, and workers residing at Hoa Cam Industrial Park Workers' Housing will receive Tet gifts from the City Trade Union, contributing to sharing difficulties and encouraging spirit.

The highlights of the Trade Union Tet Journey are the Trade Union Train - Spring 2026 and the Trade Union Bus Journey - Spring 2026. The city's trade union supports 2,000 train tickets for workers. The bus trip is organized according to actual registration requirements. The program prioritizes union members in difficult circumstances who have not returned to their hometowns for many years, especially arranging tickets for the whole family to travel together on a train or bus, ensuring safety and convenience.

In addition, the Tet Sum vay - Xuan an Dang and the Trade Union Tet Market are held at two locations in Ban Thach ward and Hoa Khanh ward, to ensure that all union members in the new city enjoy it. The City Labor Federation allocated 50,000 shopping vouchers, each worth 100,000 VND, for shopping at the markets.

At the grassroots level, trade unions are directed to proactively mobilize business resources, organize gift giving, support train and bus tickets and implement the Trade Union Meal. This activity creates a space for sharing, increasing the connection between workers, businesses and the Trade Union organization, aiming at the goal of helping union members not only "have Tet" but also "have a happy Tet" in the Spring of 2026.
