Union New Year's Meal for 40,000 Workers
In Dong Nai province, many grassroots unions have organized a Union Year's Meal to take care of Tet for union members and workers.
Union member meal of 55,000 VND/meal
The Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Company Limited in coordination with the Board of Directors of the company organized a loving Union Meal for more than 40,000 workers of 3 factories in Thanh Phu Industrial Park (Tan Trieu Ward), Loc An - Binh Son Industrial Park (Long Thanh Commune) and Tan Phu Industrial Park (Tan Phu Commune).
According to the company's union, Union Member Meals are worth 55,000 VND/meal and are worth twice as much as normal meals. Each meal is carefully prepared, ensuring nutrition and demonstrating the deep concern of the board of directors and the union for the lives of union members and workers.
The union meal takes place at a time just over a month before the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026, as a year-end party for company workers.
Within the framework of the program, workers also won many valuable prizes including 16 motorbikes and over 260 other valuable prizes (tivi, refrigerator, washing machine, watch, electromechanical stove, under-the-kine grilled kitchen...).
Previously, the Trade Union of Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company (Thong Nhat Commune) was also the first unit to organize a Trade Union Meal for union members and workers with a meal worth 70,000 VND/meal.
According to Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company, this activity helps to show gratitude, connect employees with the company and is also a recognition of the efforts that employees have worked for over the past year.
Organizing more year-end meals
The Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor also said that trade unions at all levels in the province will organize the Trade Union Meal on the occasion of Binh Ngo New Year in 2026 to take care of Tet for union members and workers.
The participants are union members, employees at enterprises, representatives of employers, representatives of higher-level trade unions, representatives of sponsors, professional leaders...
In case the grassroots trade union does not have enough resources, the unit will prepare a report and send it to the Provincial Federation of Labor for consideration and funding support.
