Tet Sum vay brings a warm spring to Sa Pa workers

On February 4th, Sa Pa Ward Trade Union organized the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program in 2026, attracting a large number of union members, workers and representatives of businesses in the area to participate.

This is an annual activity of practical significance, showing the concern and care of the trade union organization for workers, especially those in difficult circumstances.

At the program, Sa Pa Ward Trade Union presented many Tet gifts to union members, low-income workers, and workers affected by job fluctuations in the past year.

These gifts, although not large in material terms, are imbued with spiritual values, contributing to helping workers celebrate Tet more fully and warmly, while creating a connection between workers and businesses and trade union organizations.

Along with that, the program also announced the decision to establish grassroots trade unions and award certificates of merit to individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements in trade union activities.

Within the framework of the program, Sa Pa Ward Trade Union reported on the results of trade union activities in 2025, which recorded positive changes in the work of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; increasingly close coordination between trade unions and authorities and businesses.

Speaking at the opening, Mr. Ta Xuan Thanh - Chairman of Sa Pa Ward Trade Union said that in 2025, the Ward Trade Union has focused on implementing many activities to care for the lives of union members and workers, from supporting unexpected difficulties, visiting sick people to organizing cultural and sports activities, and dialogues at the grassroots level.

In the coming year, Sa Pa Ward Trade Union will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, closely follow the actual needs of workers, and strive for each union member to feel the companionship of the trade union organization," Mr. Thanh emphasized.

Highly appreciating the meaning of the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - Chairwoman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation affirmed that "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" is not only an opportunity to care for Tet for union members but also an important bridge to consolidate the trust of workers in the Party, State and trade union organization.

The Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation wished the Sa Pa Ward Trade Union to continue to promote its role, spread the spirit of care, so that workers can feel secure in working and be attached to businesses and localities for a long time.
