Periodic health check-ups for nearly 100 workers in Quang Tri
Quang Tri - Periodic health check-ups for 98 workers and monitoring of the working environment to ensure safety and prevent occupational risks.
On November 22, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the Trade Union of Butaphan Quang Binh Joint Stock Company coordinated with enterprises to organize periodic health check-ups for 98 union members and workers; at the same time, deploy labor environment monitoring according to regulations.
The examination program includes general examination and examination of occupational diseases such as lung disease, occupational bronchitis, bronchial asthma... with a budget of 405,000 VND/person, paid by the enterprise. This is an activity that the Company maintains annually to monitor and detect early risk factors for occupational diseases.
On the same day, the Union and the Company conducted labor environment monitoring, took samples of micro-climate, light, noise, dust, toxic air, measured blood pressure, heart rate in the workplace; assessed labor posture according to the OWAS method, checked image memory and work and rest regime.
Monitoring activities are maintained regularly to assess working conditions, comply with regulations on occupational safety and hygiene, and at the same time, promptly warn of the risk of leakage and pollution exceeding thresholds to promptly handle, reduce costs and ensure the health of workers.
