Dong Thap workers radiant with smiles receive Tet gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor
Dong Thap - Tet gifts of gratitude bring joy and warmth to 100 workers, helping families reduce worries.
On February 10, at the Tet gift giving ceremony for workers in difficult circumstances organized by the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation with the participation of Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the atmosphere became warmer with friendly handshakes and close greetings.
The space is simple but full of sharing, where small gifts are given along with sincere care, making many workers unable to hide their emotion when thinking about a more fulfilling Tet.
In the crowd coming to receive gifts, Ms. Huynh Ngoc Truyen, a worker at Hansae TG Co., Ltd., carefully held the gift in her hand. Her family still faces many difficulties, income depends on workers' salaries, while living expenses are increasing.
This Tet gift is of great significance to my family. Being cared for and shared at this time warms my heart and gives me more motivation to continue trying," Ms. Truyen confided.
Not far from there, Mr. Tran Chanh Tin, a worker at Freeview Industrial VN Co., Ltd., smiled when receiving gifts. According to Mr. Tin, concern comes not only during Tet but also presents in many other difficult times.
When the family has unexpected matters, illnesses or shortages, there is always timely encouragement. That helps us feel secure at work and more attached to the business," Mr. Tin shared.
Handing practical gifts directly to workers, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - gently inquired about each person, listening to everyday livelihood stories.
The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor said that when encountering images of happy workers, smiles clearly visible on their faces, that is what makes giving gifts more meaningful. Each gift, although small, contains sharing, wishing to bring a warmer and more complete Tet to workers.
From those simple moments, I hope that in the coming time, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation will continue to accompany workers with close and practical activities, so that each worker making a living can still feel the care, protection and belief in the good things ahead," Ms. Xuong added.
