Trade union visits Vinh Long General Hospital for Tet

On the evening of February 16 (the night of the 29th of Tet), in the moment of transition to the new year Binh Ngo 2026, Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union organized a delegation to visit, wish Tet and give gifts to the team of doctors and nurses on New Year's Eve duty at Vinh Long General Hospital.

Attending and speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee - acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the collective of officials, doctors and nurses of the hospital when they are ready to work throughout Tet, ensuring emergency and medical examination and treatment work is not interrupted.

She emphasized that New Year's Eve is a sacred moment for family reunions, but many medical staff still silently stay at the hospital, dedicatedly taking care of patients.

This clearly shows the medical ethics and spirit of serving the people of the team of doctors. She hopes that the hospital collective will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, improve professional quality, and better meet the health care needs of the people in the new year.

Representing the Tet duty team, Dr. Hoang Khanh - Department of Infectious Diseases, Vinh Long General Hospital - shared that being on duty on New Year's Eve has become a familiar responsibility of medical staff. "We always determine to ensure readiness for emergency care and treatment for patients at all times.

The timely concern and encouragement of provincial leaders and the Trade Union organization is a great source of encouragement for the medical staff to feel secure in their work," said Dr. Khanh.
