Caring for Tet for Railway workers at Dong Ha station area
Quang Tri - "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" is an opportunity for leaders of the corporation and the Railway Trade Union organization to express gratitude, care, and share with workers during Tet.
On February 1st, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that the General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Railway Trade Union have coordinated with units to organize the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" for officials, employees, and workers in Dong Ha station area, Quang Tri province.
The program is organized to promptly care for, share difficulties, and encourage the spirit of workers who are day and night attached to the Railway industry, especially workers in difficult circumstances who have to be on duty during Tet and New Year's Eve to ensure safe train operations.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Mai The Manh - Deputy General Director of Railway Transport Joint Stock Company - expressed his gratitude and acknowledged the contributions of officials, workers and laborers in the past time.
He said that despite many difficulties, railway workers still strive to stick to stations and routes, ensuring train safety; and at the same time wished officials and workers to continue to unite and be attached to businesses in 2026.
Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" is not only an activity to care for material things but also an opportunity for leaders of Vietnam Railways Corporation, businesses and trade union organizations to express gratitude and share with workers, and add faith so that they can feel secure in their work and be attached to the industry for a long time.
On this occasion, Vietnam Railways Corporation presented 22 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 800,000 VND; presented 2 gifts to 2 policy families in the area, each worth 1.3 million VND. In addition, the corporation also supported 4 million VND for 8 collectives to be on duty on New Year's Eve of Binh Ngo Tet.
