Introduce 4,700 jobs to workers in the East of Ho Chi Minh City
HCMC - The Ho Chi Minh City Employment Fair in the eastern area of HCMC has connected more than 4,700 jobs in many industries to workers.
On January 13, the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center organized a job fair online and in person at 3 locations in Ho Chi Minh City. In the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau), there are dozens of businesses participating, bringing thousands of jobs to workers.
Participating in the festival, a representative of Coretronic Technology Company Limited said that the unit is expanding production, so there is a need to recruit about 500 workers, along with a number of engineer and office worker positions with attractive bonuses. Initially, there were quite a few potential candidates who came to consult and apply for the unit.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center, the labor market in Ho Chi Minh City is recording positive signals in early 2026 when the demand for labor recruitment increases. The festival is held simultaneously at many locations, in both forms to facilitate workers' access to appropriate job information.
Thereby, nearly 70 businesses participated in recruitment at the job fair. In the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City alone, businesses need to recruit more than 4,700 workers; focusing on the mechanical, electrical, welding, assembly, machine operation, garment and restaurant and hotel industries; with salaries ranging from 8 to 25 million VND depending on the industry and professional qualifications.
Notably, the festival has connected flexible recruitment before, during and after the Lunar New Year, helping workers return to the labor market soon, stabilize jobs and income.
In the context of many businesses accelerating production and expanding operations in 2026, the job fair is expected to be an effective bridge between businesses and workers, contributing to stabilizing the labor market in Ho Chi Minh City.
