Talking to reporters, the representative of the above enterprise said that the company has built a new factory that will operate from the beginning of 2026 with 10 production lines. This factory needs about 600 workers, but only has 166 workers. The total recruitment demand of the company's two factories is 780 workers. In addition to unskilled labor, the need for trained human resources for the positions: Maintenance, production operations, human resources administration... is very urgent.

The company representative said that the enterprise has implemented many measures to attract workers, such as: Ensuring a stable income of 8-20 million VND/month, fully participating in social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance... according to regulations. When signing the official labor contract, employees are allowed to join the grassroots trade union and enjoy many union welfare activities. In addition, the company also has free dormitories to help employees quickly get into the rhythm of work and life. However, there are currently very few workers looking for jobs, making it difficult for the company to recruit enough workers.

According to the reporter's records, in Ben Cat ward and Bau Bang ward, there are still many businesses that are in need of recruitment, however, the number of workers coming to find jobs is very small.

Recruitment demand is 1.64 times higher than job search demand

For many months, Viet Hung Joint Stock Company (specializing in export sewing, located in Trung My Tay ward, Ho Chi Minh City) has had to leave a production line vacant due to not being able to recruit workers. Mr. Huynh Van Choi - Executive Director of Viet Hung Joint Stock Company - said that the company currently has more than 530 employees. For many months, the company has still needed to recruit about 200 more workers with a salary of more than 9 million VND/person/month and an income of more than 11 million VND/person/month to meet the unfinished sewing line, but has not been recruited yet.

"For the garment industry in Ho Chi Minh City, the income of more than 11 million VND/person/month combined with bonuses for holidays and Tet is not low, but I don't understand why there are still no workers applying" - Mr. Choi said.

Mr. Le Van Lam - Sales Director of Phuong Dong Garment Joint Stock Company (headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City) - said that the company also needs to recruit about 600 workers, the largest of whom are garment workers, followed by KCS staff, garment line leaders... with an average income of employees from 6 to 11 million VND/person/month to work at the company's new factories in Dong Thap province (in Chau Thanh, Cai Lay, Cho Gao districts of the old Tien Giang province). However, recruitment is also facing many difficulties and has not met the requirements.
