According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper on April 7 (the anniversary of Hung Vuong's death anniversary on March 10 of the lunar calendar), on National Highway 32 near the road leading to Phong Chau pontoon bridge in Huong Non commune, Tam Nong district, cars were lined up in 2 long lines, waiting to get off the pontoon bridge.

After crossing the pontoon bridge, from Lam Thao district, vehicles can go straight to the Hung Temple Historical Site in Viet Tri city.

In addition to cars actively lining up, many drivers with license plates from other provinces such as Hanoi (No. 29, 30), Hoa Binh (No. 28), Son La (No. 26), Thanh Hoa (No. 36)... did not fully understand the operating mechanism of Phong Chau pontoon bridge and went straight to the entrance and turn on the bridge.

However, the authorities were on duty at the beginning of the approach road to stop it, and enthusiastically explained and instructed drivers to turn around and line up to avoid causing congestion.

"I followed Google Maps to go to Hung Temple, the first time I came here, I didn't know that I had to wait in line to cross Phong Chau pontoon bridge because cars could only go in one lane, cars on the other side could go all, only cars on this side could go.

Fortunately, there were soldiers on duty in a timely manner, instructing me, I returned to the last row, but if I tried to get a ticket and was caught by another driver and posted a photo online, it would be a great honor" - Mr. Phung Xuan Nam, a resident from Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province, happily said.

At the beginning of the pontoon bridge in Phung Nguyen commune, Lam Thao district, the long line waiting to cross the river is equally crowded.

From having only one waiting lane at the store, the closer it got to the end of the store, the more the number of waiting lanes "exited", up to the second and third lanes.

It is estimated that the time for car drivers waiting for Phong Chau pontoon bridge on Hung Vuong's death anniversary lasted about 1 hour and less per trip.

When crossing the bridge, all vehicles cannot go quickly, because the road up and down the pontoon bridge has a large slope, heavy and weak motorbikes can have problems, making it difficult to get on and off, causing congestion on the bridge for a short time...

Previously, on March 27, Phu Tho Provincial Police recommended that vehicles from Son La, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Tam Nong, Thanh Thuy, Thanh Son, Cam Khe, Ha Hoa, Tan Son, Yen Lap districts (Phu Tho) along National Highway 32 and 32C to Den Hung should limit their choice of traveling across Phong Chau pontoon bridge.

The reason is that during the Hung Vuong Commemoration Ceremony, the traffic volume was high, traffic congestion often occurred, and it took a long time to wait for the pontoon bridge.
