Voter turnout in Lao Cai reached 99.95%, leading the country
Lao Cai – By 4 pm on March 15, Lao Cai led the country with 99.95% of voters participating in the election.
According to statistics from the Lao Cai Election Commission, the whole province has 1,185,763 voters. As of 4 pm, the voter turnout rate reached 99.95% (leading the country according to statistics from the Office of the National Election Council).
Many communes in the area have completed 100% of voters participating in early voting, showing the spirit of responsibility and high consensus of the people towards the important political event of the country and the locality.

In this election, Lao Cai has 4 units to elect National Assembly deputies, 16 units to elect provincial-level People's Council deputies and 99 units to elect commune and ward-level People's Council deputies.
The whole province has approved 2,029 polling stations, serving nearly 1.2 million voters living in nearly 3,000 villages, hamlets and residential groups.

To ensure that the election takes place on time, in accordance with the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies, Lao Cai province has proactively developed many plans and organizational scenarios suitable for each locality.
