Tuyen Quang welcomes more than 252 thousand visitors during the Lunar New Year
Tuyen Quang - The total number of tourists to Tuyen Quang is estimated to reach 252,090 with 15,100 international visitors.
According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tuyen Quang, during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year holiday 2026, from February 14 - 21 (December 27 to the 5th of Tet), the total number of tourists to the locality is estimated at 252,090.
Of which, international visitors were 15,100, domestic visitors were 236,990.
Total spending of tourists is estimated at 650.2 billion VND. Room occupancy rate at tourist accommodation establishments during peak days reached 55 - 60%.
In particular, in Quan Ba, Yen Minh and Meo Vac communes, room occupancy rate reached from 75 - 80%. Especially for Dong Van and Lung Cu communes, room occupancy rate always reached 100%.
According to the assessment of Tuyen Quang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during this Lunar New Year, localities and service business units have proactively prepared conditions to serve customers.
Cultural activities and spring festivals are organized richly, the whole province organizes over 90 unique cultural and festival activities.
