Submit to the Prime Minister a project for a center for handling violations and traffic management before April 2026
The Deputy Prime Minister agreed with the proposal of the Ministry of Public Security on the policy of developing a project for a Data Center, managing, supervising, handling violations and traffic management.
On December 26, the Government Office announced that it had just issued Document 12748/VPCP-CN conveying the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on developing a project for a Data Center, Management, Monitoring, Handling of Violations and Traffic Management for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2050.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha agreed with the proposal of the Ministry of Public Security on the policy of developing a project for a Data Center, Management, Monitoring, Handling of Violations and Traffic Management for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2050 (Project).
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Public Security to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries, branches, localities and units to develop a Project on Data Centers, Management, Supervision, Handling of Violations and Traffic Management for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2050, to submit to the Prime Minister before March 31, 2026.
Government leaders should note the assessment and review of databases that have been and are being implemented under different projects at the Ministry of Public Security and localities (including the Project on investment in installing surveillance cameras, traffic control commands to serve security and order and handle administrative violations according to Decision No. 165/QD-TTg dated February 3, 2021 of the Prime Minister), integrated into this project, ensuring synchronization, avoiding overlap, overlap, and waste of invested resources.
Previously, in order to improve the effectiveness of traffic safety and order management and security, applying technology to handle administrative violations, the Prime Minister approved the project "Investing in installing surveillance cameras, commanding traffic operations to serve security, order and handling administrative violations" in Decision No. 165/QD-TTg dated February 3, 2021.
The goal of the project is to upgrade the Traffic Police Department's command information center, ensuring the connection of camera systems of units inside and outside the police sector.
Complete the Traffic Command and Operation Information Center of the Traffic Police Department, Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police, Road and Railway Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police; build a model of Traffic Command and Operation Information Center for local police to apply uniformly nationwide.
