gratitude to people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of April 30 in Dong Thap

Dong Thap Electronic Information Portal, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan and leaders of the Department of Home Affairs, Cao Lanh City visited people with meritorious services to the revolution and policy families in the city on the afternoon of April 23, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), 50 years of Dong Thap Provincial Liberation Day.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan visited Mr. Nguyen Van Muon (born in 1948, residing in Hamlet 1, Ward 1), who was 82% war invalid, 41% infected with toxic chemicals, and a concentration camp; visited Mr. Pham Van Hoang (born in 2006, residing in Hamlet 3, Ward 4) who was 85% war invalid.

At the families visited, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Tuan kindly visited the health and life of the families of people with revolutionary contributions and gifts; expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions and dedication of policy families and people with revolutionary contributions in the cause of national struggle, liberation, national reunification, and national independence and freedom.

The Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee also spent time informing policy families about the implementation of the policy of merging provinces and arranging commune-level administrative units. Mr. Tuan hopes that families with revolutionary contributions will continue to preserve and pass on good traditional values to educate the younger generation to actively study and work to build their homeland to become more and more prosperous.
