Awarding ceremony of the Legal Knowledge Understanding Contest on the People's Army Newspaper

On the morning of March 30, in Hanoi, the People's Army Newspaper (QĐND) in coordination with the Legal Department (Ministry of National Defense) organized the summary and award ceremony of the "Learning Legal Knowledge on the People's Army Newspaper" Contest in 2025 and launched the 2026 contest.

The contest organized by the Legal Department in coordination with the People's Army Newspaper is a meaningful and practical activity in implementing the Project "Promoting the role of the People's Army force in participating in disseminating and educating the law, mobilizing people to comply with the law at the grassroots level in the period 2021-2027" (Project 1371).

Immediately after the Launching Ceremony of the contest, many agencies and units organized launching responses to the contest at their level. Not only requesting, encouraging, and motivating officers and soldiers of their units, some agencies and units also mobilized affiliated units, localities where the unit is based, relatives, and friends to participate.

Some units organize centralized exam rooms with enough computers connected to the internet for soldiers to conveniently participate; organize seminars and youth forums on the topic of law enforcement; organize donations of books on dissemination and legal education to affiliated units to enrich and spread the contest.

With those creative ways of doing things, the contest has received positive response and participation from officers and soldiers in the armed forces, civil servants, public employees, laborers, students and citizens across the country.

After 9 exams, the Organizing Committee received more than 200,000 participations, with an average of more than 20,000 people participating in each exam. Most of the entries answered multiple-choice questions correctly, and many entries answered all questions correctly.

In the essay section, many entries were carefully and elaborately invested by the authors, with good quality and rich emotions, showing that the authors firmly grasped and deeply understood legal knowledge.
