Nghe An - On the afternoon of October 11, General Secretary To Lam visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Oanh in Truong Vinh ward.
Also attending were Politburo members: Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; General Phan Van Giang - Minister of National Defense.
Also attending were members of the Party Central Committee: Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan - Vice President; Mr. Pham Gia Tuc - Chief of the Party Central Committee Office; and leaders of central and provincial departments, ministries and branches of Nghe An province.
mother Nguyen Thi Oanh, born in 2013, has 8 children (5 boys, 3 girls), of which 2 sons heroically sacrificed themselves in the resistance wars to protect the Fatherland before getting married.
Currently, the mother is living with her daughter in Vinh city (old). In a warm and affectionate atmosphere, General Secretary To Lam kindly visited her mother's health and life, expressing the deep gratitude of the Party, State and People for the great contributions and sacrifices of her mother and family in the cause of national liberation and national reunification.
