General Secretary To Lam attended the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the North Korean Labor Party held at Kim Nhat Thanh Square.
Within the framework of the state visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on the evening of October 10 (local time), General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation attended the 80th anniversary of the founding of the North Korean Labor Party (October 10, 1945 - October 10, 2025) held at Kim Nhat Thanh Square, Binh Nhuong Capital.
North Korean President Kim Jong Un chaired the ceremony.
At Kim Nhat Thanh Square, a series of cannons were fired before the honor guard marched. The banners are placed on many large hot air balloons hanging in the central square of Pyongyang.
On buildings around the square, a series of red Hammer Flags of the Labor Party and the North Korean flags fly in a flash.
North Korean President Kim Jong Un delivered a speech at the ceremony, expressing his gratitude to guests from all walks of life and international friends who attended the parade; and thanking the people nationwide for doing their best towards the glorious October.
President Kim Jong Un affirmed that the North Korean Labor Party always considers the socialist cause that the people have chosen and huongated towards as their own; at the same time, he expressed that the North Korean people will forever remember and be grateful to the army that has donated its life and blood for the great history of the Fatherland, for the dignity and honor of the nation, for the achievements of the revolution.

Kim Nhat Thanh Square is located in the center of the capital Pyongyang, inaugurated in 1954 and named after President Kim Nhat Thanh - the founding leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. This is one of the largest squares in the world, with a capacity of more than 100,000 people.
On the roofs of buildings around the square, beams are installed to display banners and slogans. This is also the place where parades, parades, and large-scale art performances are held.
