General Secretary To Lam departs to attend the opening meeting of the Peace Council on Gaza

On February 18, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam left Hanoi Capital to attend the opening meeting of the Gaza Peace Council in Washington D.C., USA from February 18 to February 20, at the invitation of US President Donald Trump, Chairman of the Founding Committee of the Gaza Peace Council.

Participating in the working trip with General Secretary To Lam were: General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security; Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Member of the Politburo, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Pham Gia Tuc; Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang; Member of the Party Central Committee, Governor of the State Bank Nguyen Thi Hong; Member of the Party Central Committee, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung; Assistant Secretary General, in charge of the Office of General Secretary Ton An Xo; Vietnamese Ambassador to the United States Nguyen Quoc Dung.

The participation of the highest leader of Vietnam shows Vietnam's support and willingness to participate in the common efforts of the international community for peace and development.

This is also the concretization of cooperation agreements on international issues within the content of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the United States.
