General Secretary To Lam meets with veteran cadres and meritorious people in Ho Chi Minh City
HCMC - On the morning of April 21, General Secretary To Lam met with veteran revolutionary cadres, meritorious people, and exemplary policy families on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
Attending the meeting were former President Nguyen Minh Triet; former President Truong Tan Sang; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; former Standing member of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh.
Also attending the program were Politburo members: Mr. Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission; Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister; General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense; General Luong Quang, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security; Mr. Nguyen Van, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
The meeting is part of a series of events and activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
