General Secretary To Lam and leaders of the Party and State attended the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Ceremony.
On the morning of August 17, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security (CAND) (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) and awarded the 5th Gold Star Medal.
General Secretary To Lam attended the ceremony. Also attending the ceremony was former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh.
Also attending the ceremony were Politburo members: President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.
The ceremony was also attended by former Politburo member, former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; former leaders of the Party and State. Also attending were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries, Party Central Committee members, leaders of ministries and branches.
