On July 23, in Hanoi, General Secretary To Lam - Secretary of the Central Military Commission and the Central Working Group visited and worked with the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA).

At the meeting, on behalf of the leaders of the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People's Army, General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army reported on the outstanding results in implementing the tasks of Party activities and political work of the entire army from the beginning of 2025 to present; key tasks in the remaining time of 2025.

Accordingly, from now until the end of the year, the General Department of Politics will regularly grasp the ideological situation and public opinion of cadres, soldiers and people, especially after implementing a two-level local government and arranging a lean, compact and strong local military organization.

Coordinate well the organization of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Strengthen propaganda and education for the entire army to unify the will and action in implementing the Party's breakthrough new policies and decisions and the goal of building a modern Army.

Along with that, advise and direct the Party Committees under the Central Military Commission to organize the Party Congress as planned and successfully organize the 12th Army Party Congress to be truly exemplary and exemplary; participate responsibly and qualitatively in the work of serving the 14th National Party Congress.

In particular, regularly organize the effective implementation of inspection and supervision plans; especially the implementation of resolutions and conclusions of the Central Military Commission and the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission on important and breakthrough policies and decisions of the Party; resolutions to streamline the apparatus, rearrange administrative units and local military organizations.

Timely resolve cases of discipline, denunciations and complaints. Coordinate with forces to ensure absolute security and safety for important political events of the country and the Army.

Effectively implement the "Digital education movement"; apply science and technology, artificial intelligence, resolutely accelerate administrative reform, digital transformation in the fields of Party work and political work.

After listening to the report of the leaders of the General Department of Politics and the opinions of the delegates, General Secretary To Lam will give an important speech at the meeting.
