General Secretary attends solemn opening ceremony of the National Achievement Exhibition
General Secretary To Lam and leaders of the Party and State attended the solemn opening of the National Achievement Exhibition "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness".
On the morning of August 28, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), the opening ceremony of the National Achievement Exhibition "80 years of Independence - freedom - Happiness" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2 was solemnly held.
Attending the exhibition's opening ceremony were General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; former Politburo member, former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; former Politburo member, former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; former Politburo member, former Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong; Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh.
Also attending were Politburo members, former Politburo members; Secretariat members, former Secretariat members; Party Central Committee members, former Party Central Committee members; Alternate Party Central Committee members; leaders of departments, ministries and branches.





The National Achievement Exhibition with the theme "80 years of Independence - freedom - Happiness" will take place from August 28 to September 5, 2025.
The exhibition content at the exhibition focuses on introducing:
- Outstanding achievements of the country in 80 years of construction and development in many fields, especially in key areas such as: industry - technology; investment - trade; agriculture - rural areas; security - defense; foreign affairs; health, education; culture, sports and tourism.
- Vietnamese Culture - State - People with a 4,000-year historical cultural tradition; the richness and cultural diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the richness of resources, products of the three regions and outstanding architectural works of the past and present across the country.
- Green industries and Vietnam's green transformation and digital transformation journey.
- Vietnam's aviation and aerospace industry.
- Vietnam's security and defense industry.
- Space of 12 Vietnamese cultural industries.
The total indoor and outdoor exhibition area at the National Exhibition Center is about 250,900.6 m2.
