General Secretary attends conference to thoroughly grasp and implement Resolutions No. 79 and 80
General Secretary To Lam and Party and State leaders attended the conference to study, study, thoroughly grasp and implement 2 Resolutions of the Politburo.
On the morning of February 25, General Secretary To Lam attended a national conference to study, study, thoroughly grasp and implement Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW on state economic development and Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo on Vietnamese cultural development.
The conference was organized in a direct and online connection form from the main bridge point at Dien Hong meeting room, National Assembly House (Hanoi) to 27,200 bridge points in provincial and city Party committees, Party committees directly under the Central Government, bridge points of departments, ministries, branches, central agencies, agencies and units with more than 2 million delegates participating.
Also attending at the National Assembly House bridge point were: President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu. Also attending were Politburo Members, former Politburo Members; Politburo Members, former Politburo Members; leaders of departments, ministries, branches, central agencies, agencies, units...
The conference was organized to study, learn, thoroughly grasp and implement Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW, focusing on new points, core and breakthrough contents.
On that basis, Party committees at all levels lead and direct the development of action programs to organize the implementation of the 2 Resolutions; and at the same time widely propagate throughout the Party, the entire people, and the entire army, creating unity in will and action in the process of implementing the 2 Resolutions, helping cadres and party members firmly grasp the core content and new points in the 2 Resolutions of the Politburo.
According to the expected program, the conference will hear:
- Special topic "Key and core contents of Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW, dated January 7, 2026 of the Politburo on the development of Vietnamese culture" conveyed by Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet.
- Special topic "Key and core contents of Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW, dated January 6, 2026 of the Politburo on state economic development" conveyed by Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi;
- Special topic "Program of action to implement Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW" conveyed by Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh.
In particular, the conference will hear the directing speech of General Secretary To Lam.
